Prologue: In June 1989 we celebrated to have survived high school I... hardly remember anything from that evening but there is one memory standing out. that she - danced - to - Tainted Love. [1] I am an analogue kid in a digital world 30 years too late but this had to be done tracing back through my mind - things can't be undone some memories hurt and some are NEON [Refr.:] It was the end of a journey but my heart was still burning recalling her face from the prom night and she danced to Tainted Love It was the end of a journey but my heart was still burning recalling her face from the prom night and she danced to Tainted Love [2] I praise my bio-databank some of these entries are burned in they make smile and smile again she danced to tainted love back then [Refr.:] It was the end of a journey but my heart was still burning recalling her face from the prom night and she danced to Tainted Love It was the end of a journey but my heart was still burning recalling her face from the prom night and she danced to Tainted Love [3] That day I've missed another chance to start a wonderful romance these bleeding memories abide of the greatest love of my life [Refr.:] It was the end of a journey but my heart was still burning recalling her face from the prom night and she danced to Tainted Love It was the end of a journey but my heart was still burning recalling her face from the prom night and she danced to Tainted Love It was the end of a journey but my heart was still burning recalling her face from the prom night and she danced to Tainted Love It was the end of a journey but my heart was still burning recalling YOUR face from the prom night and YOU danced to Tainted Love (c) 2018-2020 Lotek Style

about

On the 24th of June 1989 we officially left school.
On this evening I saw her dancing to Soft Cell's 'Tainted Love'.
I preserved this memory for a very long time and in 2018
I wrote a song about it. It is heavily inspired by the girl I fell
unlucky in love with over 30 years ago. For many years
I kept this a secret and buried it all.
I still cannot forget her... and she knows it.

This is for her.
